This Privacy Policy explains how the Air Show Live mobile application (the “App”), published by Airshow Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for iOS and Android, handles your information.
Information we collect
None. The App is a listen-only live audio player. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal information, and we do not require you to create an account or log in.
No analytics or advertising
The App contains no analytics frameworks, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking technologies. We do not build user profiles, and we do not sell or share data for advertising purposes — because we do not collect any.
How the App connects to the internet
To play the live audio broadcast, the App connects to streaming servers operated by us and by our streaming-infrastructure providers. As with any app or website that loads content over the internet, those servers automatically receive standard technical connection data — such as your device’s IP address and the type of connection — which is necessary to deliver the audio stream to your device. This information is used only to route and deliver the stream and is not used by us to identify you.
The audio may be delivered through the following third-party providers, depending on availability:
- Red5 Pro / Red5 Cloud (low-latency WebRTC audio)
- StreamGuys (Icecast audio)
- Twitch (fallback audio, when in use)
When the stream is delivered through one of these providers, that provider’s own privacy practices apply to the connection. We encourage you to review their privacy policies for details on how they handle connection data.
Device permissions
- Network / internet access — required to receive the live audio stream.
- Notifications and background audio (media playback) — used so that playback can continue and be controlled from your lock screen or notification shade while the App runs in the background. We do not send marketing or promotional notifications.
- Camera and microphone (iOS) — the App does not record audio or video and does not access your camera or microphone. These permission descriptions are required only because the underlying real-time streaming framework references those system APIs. No camera or microphone data is ever captured, used, or transmitted.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no personal data at all, it does not gather information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Data retention and security
We do not maintain any personal data about you, so there is no personal data for us to retain, expose, or delete. Connections to the streaming servers are made over encrypted (HTTPS/secure) channels where supported by the provider.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over personal data that a company holds about you. Because we do not collect or store any personal data through the App, there is no such data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this, contact us using the details below.
